Doc Lounge is a documentary film organization that has clubs in almost twenty cities in the Nordics. The clubs show high-quality and engaging documentary films from around the world before they are shown in cinemas or streaming services. Elin from Nanna was responsible producer for Doc Lounge Lund 2015 - 2018, the same year she worked as a producer at the cultural center Mejeriet , where Doc Lounge Lund was housed. Elin worked to increase and broaden the audience for the genre of documentary film and give visitors an experience that engages and stays in their memory.

 

As project manager for Doc Lounge Lund, Elin booked guests, built themes around each documentary, planned interactive events and arranged collaborations with external actors. In addition, great focus was placed on marketing on social media and the work to attract new audience groups. During her time as project manager for Doc Lounge Lund, Elin expanded the international audience to more than double, after a bet against Lund University's large share of exchange students. Elin organized almost 40 Doc Lounge events in three years.
